Preston B. Smith moved to Colorado in 1978, and “grew up” in the Pikes Peak region. First starting in Teller County, and then relocating to Colorado Springs where he attended Wasson and Mitchell High Schools. After graduating, his primary focus has centered on self-education through sales, and management courses provided by past employers. This focus has accorded Preston with numerous national sales and customer service awards over his career. After 5 years at Sellstate Alliance Realty, he partnered with Carrie Lukins and became a co-owner of Sellstate Alliance Realty and Property Management, Sellstate Alliance Realty South and Sellstate Alliance Realty East in February of 2021.

Preston’s focus is now centered on residential real estate services. More specifically, helping first time homebuyers and clients with military relocation. His specialty revolves around FHA and VA loans, with an extremely high emphasis on assisting military families. He is the Co-Founder of 719Heroes, a proudly certified Military Relocation Professional (MRP), and an affiliate of Homes for Heroes. He is, also, the Vice President / Treasurer of The COS Network, a local nonprofit that gives back to the Colorado Springs community via charitable actions and contributions. He is extremely involved in giving back to the Military, Law Enforcement, Firefighting / EMS, Teaching and Healthcare communities. Through the 719Heroes group efforts, he rewards heroes with 25% of his commissions for their heroic efforts when they purchase or sell a home with him as their Realtor®.

With over 29 years of direct customer interaction experience, he is a huge proponent of straightforwardness and working with his clients, from start to closing and beyond, in the home buying or selling process. Nowhere else is this better exemplified than when it comes to working with a client on their very first house. His personal philosophy is that as his client’s representative he should be honest, patient, communicative, knowledgeable, present, and involved in every single aspect of their transaction. From negotiations, to walkthroughs, to inspections, and much more there is almost nothing he isn’t willing to assist with. His goal with every single client is to ensure their experience is the best that it can be.
